Laboratory and Equipment Handling, Use and Cleaning

The Laboratory must be kept clean and orderly. Laboratory and equipment must be cleaned and equipment put away after analyses are finished. All samples must be removed. Failure to clean the laboratory properly will result in additional charges and, if considered adequate, instrument use privileges will be retrieved.

Sample (soil, water, plant tissue, etc.) storage facilities are not available. Unless prior arrangements are made, samples will be removed from the SRCL and discarded one week after analyses are completed and a clean up fee will be assessed.

Extra fees will be assessed toward the replacement or restoration of the equipment or instrument in cases where reckless use resulted in equipment or instrument breakage or failure.
