Giving to the Department
The Department of Ecosystem Science and Management has been educating natural resource professionals, conducting research on issues important for Pennsylvania and beyond, and providing outreach to the citizens of the Commonwealth for more than 100 years. We are confident the next century will bring continued excellence in all that we do. The school will never forget our land-grant mission of providing service to our many stakeholders.
To maintain our excellence, we depend on support from many of our alumni and friends. We are thankful and greatly appreciate those who have generously given to the school in the past. The new Forest Resources Building is truly a testament to the generosity of our alumni, our stakeholders, and partners. Additionally, the school's scholarships and awards continue to provide much needed support to deserving and qualified undergraduate and graduate students. Continued support will provide the school with the ability to continue to offer scholarships and enhance our teaching, research, and outreach programs.
For those interested in creating a named endowment, options include endowing faculty chairs or creating an endowment that provides support for existing or new teaching, research, and extension initiatives. You may also wish to make a charitable gift to an existing endowment or scholarship fund within the school. Giving to the school can be in the form of a future estate gift, outright giving, appreciated securities, and monthly automatic deduction.
