Dr. Tammi Johnson is an Assistant Professor of Wildlife Disease Ecology with Texas A&M AgriLife Research.  Her primary research focuses on identifying sets of ecological characteristics that contribute to pathogen and vector maintenance, emergence, disease risk, and ultimately on prevention and control through integrated management practices.  Currently, Dr. Johnson's lab is working to design strategic intervention tools for managing ticks and tick-borne diseases at the wildlife-livestock interface.
