Options and Course Requirements

For the Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Wood Products, a minimum of 125 credits is required. Students must choose either the Business and Marketing or Processing and Manufacturing option.

Students in this option focus on the income-generating side of the wood products industry. They examine basic concepts such as product quality and value, customer satisfaction, product perceptions, competitive advantage, and global competition.

Students in this option can develop an in-depth understanding of the science and technology involved in converting wood into useful products. They study the material science and engineering of using wood and wood fiber as manufacturing materials.
