Visitors are invited to come out and explore the grounds of ChicoryLane, an ecologically dynamic 68+ acre property owned by John and Catherine Smith, nestled in the shadow of Brush Mountain just a couple miles east of Spring Mills.
Start the day off with the Fall Bird Walk led by Joe Gyekis from 8:00–10:00 AM. This is a great opportunity to see the fall migrating species!
From 10:30 AM–3:00 PM the Reserve is open for exploring on your own. A wonderful time of year to enjoy the trails and benches placed around the property. Bring a picnic lunch. Pop-up talks on fall plant and animal life here might happen, too — more details to come as plans come together and the event draws closer.
