Taking place at the Penn Stater Hotel and Conference Center in State College, March 22-23, 2019, this new venue for the conference is located more centrally and with better capacities to host the growing number of attendees.

As in past years, the highlights of the conference include opportunities for woodland owners, natural resource professionals, and others to interact, learn from one another, and add new ideas and resources to their forest stewardship "toolbox." With a broad range of topics, the conference aims to meet the needs and interests of woodland owners with varying experiences. Attendees can choose talks that explore opportunities for woodland owners with small acreages, methods for controlling invasive plants, use of drones to help map and monitor woodlands, strategies for improving wildlife habitat and enhancing woodland health, and many more topics that will help current and future woodland owners care for their land.

Forest Leaves subscribers who are interested in helping to advertise the conference are encouraged to call 814-863-0401 to request postcards that can be distributed and posted for others to see.
