The Penn State Extension Renewable Natural Resources team would like to announce two upcoming webinars about the Paycheck Protection Program which is a federal stimulus benefit available for small businesses affected by the novel Coronavirus.

One is Thursday, April 9th at 7:00 PM and the other will be held on Friday, April 10 at Noon.

The Paycheck Protection Program is a low-interest loan program that may fully or partially qualify for loan forgiveness. The Economic and Community Development team will be conducting the live webinars and while the title of the webinars does not indicate the forest industry, the information that will be presented is pertinent to all small businesses including loggers, sawmills, foresters, etc. If you own or run a business with less than 500 people, these webinars will provide information needed to make informed decisions about the program.
