The Pennsylvania Forest Assessment Project engaged members of the full forestry community in a critical assessment of Pennsylvania forests.

The Pennsylvania Forest Assessment Project engaged members of the full forestry community in a critical assessment of Pennsylvania forests, using FIA data and modeled on the work of Belair, Gunn, and Ducey in New England to assess the kinds of harvests done and forest condition. After an 18-month long process of ensuring the research aligned with the practice of forestry, we are excited to share the results. This presentation will cover the process and outcomes of the work, data interpretations, and next steps. We hope this will spark interest across the community to better understand and track actions and impacts on the forest.
