We work with the Susquehanna-Shale Hills Critical Zone Observatory (http://criticalzone.org/shale-hills/) to earthcast the critical zone. Our group makes field measurements of the depth distribution of soil CO2, O2, and solutes that affect weathering and nutrient availability.
