We are using UAS to measure differences in phenology of black walnut provenances

Posted: September 25, 2018

In collaboration with Drs. M. McDill and D. Miller, we are using UAS and multispectral images to measure phenology differences among black walnut provenances growing in a provenance trial.

We have been busy, starting new research in our black walnut provenance study. We have been following differences in the time of senescence among provenances using UAS and multispectral imaging. In October we will continue with additional growth and morphology measurements.
