The program highlighted the intersection of art and nature through a presentation and workshop led by Cathryn Pugh, a former Ecosystem Science and Management (ESM) graduate student.  Cat Pugh, now a Forestry Educator for Penn State Extension, demonstrated the block-printing techniques she uses to depict Pennsylvania’s unique flora. Participants were given the opportunity to design their own printed cards using carved blocks they created. They also enjoyed coffee, tea, and cookies, courtesy of the ESM Graduate Student Organization.
