At the banquet we will honor our 2025 Outstanding Alumni:

  • Glenn L. Bowers – M.S. Zoology and Entomology (Wildlife Management) 1948 – retired executive director, PA Game Commission  posthumous award
  • Alan W. Sam – B.S. Forest Science 1981, M.S. Forest Resources 1985 – retired environmental coordinator/arborist, State College Borough
  • Van L. Wagner – B.S. Wildlife and Fisheries Science 1998 – educator, forester, musical artist

Lodging

We have a small block of rooms on hold at the Country Inn & Suites hotel in State College for overnight lodging ($189+tax per night). You may make reservations online, or call the hotel directly at 814-234-6000 and request a room in the block set aside for the Forest Resources & ESM Alumni Group. Rooms will be held in the block only until February 28, 2025, so please make your lodging reservation by that date.
