This award recognizes a team of two or more Penn State faculty researchers for their collaborative, interdisciplinary research efforts on a topic within one of the five IEE themes that have benefited society.
Climate-smart strategies to maintain resilient and well-adapted forests under a changing climate are of great interest for forest-resource and land-management professionals and private landowners. Seed selection under a changing climate is the subject of critical and urgent research and the need to translate this research is urgent as well.
