The Schatz Center for Tree Molecular Genetics provides undergraduate research awards, post-doctoral fellowships, and visiting scholar stipends for participation in research projects with center faculty.

Schatz Undergraduate Research Awards support undergraduate student research projects in forest genetics conducted with scientists associated with the center.

The Schatz Postdoctoral Fellowship in Tree Biotechnology supports recent Ph.D.s to conduct research for 2 to 3 years in the Schatz Center on the Penn State University Park campus. (NOT CURRENTLY OPEN FOR APPLICATIONS)

The Visiting Scholars Program in The Louis W. Schatz Center for Tree Molecular Genetics in the Department of Ecosystem Science and Management at the University Park campus of Penn State University supports guests for periods of 3 months to 3 years for technical training, sabbaticals, and research collaborations in areas related to molecular genetics.
