Eissenstat Root Ecology Lab

The Eissenstat root ecology and plant ecophysiology lab works in all aspects of plant ecology with a particular emphasis on the ecology of plant roots.

We work in a variety of systems, including arctic tundra, boreal, temperate and subtropical forests as well as fruit crops systems such as apple orchards and vineyards. If you are a student seeking a research opportunity, please check out our undergraduate and graduate pages.
