Course Details

The PA Forests Web Seminar Center provides web-based educational programs and materials for forest owners, extension educators, and natural resource professionals.

The center's goal is to offer "live" webinars on forest resource related topics.

To make this learning approach most useful for you and others, we encourage you to provide us with webinar topics for our consideration. To share your ideas and to offer comments please Contact Us.

Everyone is welcome to participate in live webinars.

Participating in the Live Webinar

During the webinar, you can view and hear the presentation and ask questions using the chat feature. Presentations will usually last about an hour, though sometimes questions can run long.

Previous Webinars

Previous Webinars are previously recorded webinars and educational material. Previously recorded webinars are available to everyone who visits the site.

Continuing Education Credits

These webinars are being offered at no charge to participants, however if you would like to receive Continuing Education Credits, there may be a fee.

If you will be seeking credits for watching this webinar, please select which credits you wish to apply for during registration. In order to receive credits you must watch the webinar during the live session for which you registered and attend the full session. The time in session will be verified before credits are assigned.

Society of American Foresters (SAF)

Participation in live webinars is eligible for SAF continuing forestry education credits for registered participants.

At the end of each session, we will post a website to which attending Certified Foresters seeking credit will be directed. Please fill out the pertinent information. We will submit confirmation of attendance via email and send a list of participants to SAF following each approved webinar.

Other continuing education credits

Other continuing education credits may be available for participating in webinars. Contact your continuing education coordinator to determine if this fits in with your education needs.
