This presentation covers the history, diagnosis, treatment, epidemiology, vector ecology, management tactics, and a brief review of some of the latest research findings on Lyme disease.

Lyme disease rarely makes the news anymore - but it should. Instances of this illness continue to rise, as the tick responsible for transmitting the disease is continually increasing its range. Effective ways to manage Lyme disease have been identified in the past, yet very little funding is earmarked for ongoing Lyme disease. In spite of this dire overview there are ways to manage Lyme disease. This presentation will cover the history, diagnosis, treatment, epidemiology, vector ecology, management tactics, and a brief review of some of the latest research findings.
