Chronic wasting disease (CWD) was initially discovered in mule deer in Colorado 50 years ago but was detected in Pennsylvania in 2012 in wild and captive white-tailed deer.

How CWD is transmitted and how it found its way to Pennsylvania and surrounding states is open to great debate. In this webinar, We delve into some of these possibilities on the origin of CWD and offer insight into current management of the disease in Pennsylvania.
