This webinar covered trends in public knowledge and attitudes towards timber harvesting on private lands in the United States.

This topic is particularly relevant considering the prevalence of family forests, and the importance of private forests in providing timber and other ecosystem service benefits, such as clean water supply and wildlife habitat. Findings indicate that the public and forest owners share many similar values about forest management and government assistance for forest owners.
