The sites listed below are designed to help prospective international students to achieve their goals before they arrive at Penn State and while they are studying here.

Penn State International Student Office

International Students and Scholars (ISS) is responsible for services and programs that aid students from abroad in achieving their goals while studying at Penn State. The office works closely with over 3090 international students, handles immigration matters such as issuing visa documents and financial eligibility for admission, acts as a liaison with sponsoring agencies, offers academic and personal adjustment counseling, assists students with official documents such as I-9's (for employment) and passport extensions, and provides many other services. In addition, ISS assists with the activities of twenty-five nationality clubs and the International Student Council (ISC), and acts as an advocate for international student concerns with University Offices and other agencies within the community.
