Annual SCFLOA Summer Picnic

We will be gathering at the pavilion at Salt Springs State Park at 11:30 a.m. to socialize and will eat at noon. Following the meal, at 1:00 p.m., a hike will be held on the “Hemlock” trail where attendees will learn “how to tell how old a tree is by just looking at it,” a program presented by Jim Kessler, retired DCNR BOF Service Forester.

The picnic and program are open to the public, so come and meet others who share a common interest in being good stewards of their woodland! SCFLOA will be providing hamburgers and hot dogs. Please bring a dish to share and a beverage for yourself. Alcohol is not allowed in the park. The picnic will be held rain or shine.
