Discover the rich legacy and modern applications of black walnut in this engaging, hands-on workshop. Learn about the tree’s traditional and contemporary uses for food, timber, and natural dyes, then roll up your sleeves to create your own naturally dyed fabric and yarns using black walnut dye. All participants will take home their handcrafted pieces and a deeper appreciation for this remarkable resource.
Personal protective equipment will be provided. Participants are encouraged to wear old clothes and closed-toed shoes.
