The Pennsylvania Forestry Association (PFA), our Nation’s oldest forestry association, prides itself on helping members.

While we are not experts on every forestry subject, we have a strong track record of helping PFA members find meaningful answers to their forestry questions. Many of the answers to our members' questions can be found in the routine and frequent communications sent to PFA members.

A wealth of comprehensive forestry information is contained in each issue of our quarterly 40-page full-color magazine, Pennsylvania Forests.

Our Facebook page, "Pennsylvania Forestry Association," has frequent posts of interesting and intriguing articles on all facets of forestry, whether you're interested in commercial forestry, wildlife, or just have a general love and appreciation for Penn's Woods.

Our monthly e-newsletter, "Forestry News You Can Use," contains pertinent and breaking information on forestry issues, meetings, legislation/regulations, workshops, events, and happenings. And, the PFA website is another source of valuable and interesting historical information on forestry.

PFA members have access to all of this information as well as the ability to send us their specific forestry questions.

I invite you to become a PFA member. As a PFA officer, I have the privilege of signing you up for your first year of membership at a 50% discount off of the full $30 annual membership rate.

Just with your name, address, preferred phone number, and email address and we will plug you into the membership rolls of PFA and send you a new member kit and a $15 first-year membership invoice. I look forward to hearing from you!
