From pulp and paper, lumber, fine veneer, and cabinets and furniture, "Penn's Woods" have provided folks with jobs and products for more than three centuries. And as we enter the age of renewable energy, Pennsylvania is once again at the forefront of wood utilization, this time producing energy to reduce our dependence on foreign fossil fuels. This webinar touches on the history of wood in Pennsylvania and where the industry is likely to go in the future.
