Over 625 landowners, natural resource professionals, and interested people gathered last month at the Penn Stater Hotel and Conference Center in State College, PA for two days of learning, connecting, and discovering more about their woods at the 2019 Forest Landowners Conference. Presentations ranged from controlling invasives, improving wildlife habitat, and legacy planning to drones, fungi foraging, pollinators, and so much more. With nearly 100 presentations, exhibits, field tours, workshops, keynotes, and valuable connection and conversation opportunities, conference-goers agreed that this is one of the premier events for forest landowners in the Northeast. This was the 4th biennial conference hosted by the Center for Private Forests at Penn State, and many attendees declared it the best ever and are looking forward to the next one in 2021!
