Meeting minutes from Board and Committee meetings
In 2004, TACF, the National Park Service, and Penn State University held a conference to exhibit the most current knowledge on scientific research and chestnuts. The papers submitted as part of that conference may be found here
Through early 2011, TACF held a set of four facilitated workshops that sought to collect and combine information into a working document that will assist in the restoration of the American chestnut. Those workshops were only one part of a four-track plan that TACF will use to create and administer the restoration plan. Follow-up tracks were held in Breeding and Genetics, Development and Business, and Reintroduction and Ecology. The background and notes from all of those meetings may be found below.

Many chestnut growers are working to create relationships and infrastructure to aggregate, process, and distribute these chestnuts. With the cancellation of the 2020 Chestnut Growers of America meeting, this event provides an opportunity to connect and build networks.
